Our Technicians are EVT Certified

A big part of the mission of Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus is to be excellent at fixing used fire trucks. Our team takes that mission seriously and shows it by accumulating certifications from the Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification Commission. (EVT)

Brindlee is thrilled to announce that 24 of our team members have at least one EVT certification and that group technicians have accumulated 188 certifications.

The EVT Certification Commission, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to improving the quality of emergency vehicle service and repair throughout the United States and Canada by means of a certification program that will provide technicians recognition for the education, training, and experience they have in the service and repair of emergency vehicles.

The certifications range from entry to mastery level focusing on one or more apparatus types. A list of these certification tracks can be found here:  EVT Tracks

Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus challenges and rewards its team members to pursue these certifications so that there can be a deep knowledge base to help fire departments and communities keep reliable fire trucks in service.

As stated earlier, the team at Brindlee currently has 24 team members with EVT certifications but it goes much deeper than that.

  • 14 team members have 5 or more certifications

  • 7 team members have 10 or more certifications

  • 6 team members are EVT Master Level Certified

  • 4 team members hold the EVT ARFF Master Certification

If your department has a need for routine service, collision repair, or apparatus refurbishment, let us know. We would be honored to speak with you on how our qualified technicians can help.
