A Season of Thanksgiving from Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus

Posted by Billy Claunch, on November 20, 2023

Entering a cherished season of rich traditions with family and friends, Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus is abundantly thankful for multiple blessings that are beyond measure.  The greatest blessings outside our personal families are all the other people that surround us - our company team members, our fire service customers, fire apparatus and ambulance dealerships, supplier partners, and new vehicle OEMs.  Without all of them, none of what we have at Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus could exist.

Founded more than 20 years ago and still led by James Wessel, his personal and professional focus on the people of the fire service turned a situation years ago with his local volunteer fire department and a used fire truck into an amazing opportunity to enter the used fire apparatus business.  As the years passed, James knew the importance of building the Brindle Mountain Fire Apparatus organization with great leaders and individual members.  This has been forged by a culture centered on integrity, service, excellence, and gratitude in buying, selling, and servicing used fire apparatus.

Like many successful enterprises, starting very small and based on the core customer-focused foundation noted, Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus has grown to be the largest used fire apparatus business in the USA and Canada.  With a lot of hard work from so many people over the years and loyalty developed with customers and apparatus dealers by honoring its core values, Brindlee Mountain’s blessings are countless and resulting gratitude endless to all that have been part of the journey for over two decades.

As with many traditions, while reflecting and remembering, Brindlee Mountain also looks ahead with optimism and determination in holding true to what has made all the difference - faith and great people.  They are inseparable to Brindlee Mountain’s values and the path forward for years to come.

So as this Thanksgiving season is now upon us, Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus prays for blessings and safety for everyone.  In doing so, the opportunity to serve is an honor and we extend our sincere thanks for the privilege.
