Apparatus Information

  • Starting in 1971, Becker built pumpers, tankers, minipumpers, wildland trucks, brush trucks, light rescue and airport crash trucks on both commercial and custom chassis (Spartan, Simon-Duplex and HME). In 1999, Becker was acquired by American LaFrance and the plant became the American LaFrance's western manufacturing facility. It closed in late 2006.

  • With an on-board foam system, your fire fighting will use the water more efficiently. Adding foam to a fire can help reduce the total water needed to extinguish the fire, and reduce the damage that can be caused to property by excess water usage on a fire scene.
