Apparatus Information

  • Beck Fire Apparatus was a fire apparatus manufacturer located in Cloverdale, California. Beck was established in 1978 and was primarily a builder of pumpers, water tenders and brush trucks. The company built apparatus on both commercial and custom truck chassis. Beck is particularly known for its use of Ottawa Truck Corporations custom cab forward fire apparatus chassis. In 1990 the Ottawa Truck Corporation acquired Beck which continued to operate as an independent division until going out of business in 1992.

  • The light tower on this vehicle will provide excellent scene lighting on your response. Whether lighting a wreck scene, or making sure your fire fighters have the light needed to prepare for work, this truck can provide that.

  • With an on-board foam system, your fire fighting will use the water more efficiently. Adding foam to a fire can help reduce the total water needed to extinguish the fire, and reduce the damage that can be caused to property by excess water usage on a fire scene.
