  • Truck Description
This ladder truck would make a great addition to any department looking to get into a first time ladder truck or reserve ladder for any city department. This ladder has been the main aerial apparatus for us the past 30 years. It has seen its share of large and small fires and pumper without any issues on all of them. This ladder truck is a no bells and whistles down and dirty ladder truck. It has been well maintained over the years and currently has a new bucket, new shocks and leaf springs in the rear. Available now!

Apparatus Information

  • With under 25,000 miles, this used fire truck has been very well taken care of over its life. There should be plenty of life left to respond to emergency calls in your own fire department with this piece of emergency equipment.

  • This old fire truck would make a good collector's rig, or parade piece for a Volunteer Fire Department, or a Fire Fighter who just wants their own rig to make local appearances.

  • Sutphen began in 1890 as a dream of C.H. Sutphen. His son, Harry, took an interest in the business and carried it on until his death. Harry's two sons, Thomas and Robert, joined the business after World War II. They gained experience and job responsibility over the years, with Robert becoming Chairman of the Board and Thomas, President of the Company. Sutphen has over 120 years of operation; making it the oldest continuously owned and operated fire apparatus manufacturers in the country. Never reorganized, owned and operated by anyone other than a Sutphen, family atmosphere is apparent.
