Routine and Preventive Maintenance. Brindlee Mountain works with departments throughout the Southeast to provide preventive maintenance, pump testing, and repair services to help keep departments serving their communities. The mobile service team is also on call when an apparatus needs immediate attention for truck down situations.
In addition to routine work the Brindlee team specializes in end to end refurbishment of fire apparatus having recently completed full refurbishment projects for customers ranging from the Department of Defense, paid fire departments, private fire protection agencies, and volunteer fire departments. The team at Brindlee Mountain works diligently with customers to match their apparatus service needs with the right technical solutions and within their budget.
The Service Team at Brindlee Mountain represents the largest number of certified Master Emergency Vehicle Technicians on a single team in the Southeast ready to serve your department. Brindlee Mountain employs 50 full time and half of those work in the Service Department. There are certified Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) mechanics, fabrication technicians, paint specialists, operations management, and parts specialists. Certified EVT technicians perform pump tests, general repairs, preventative maintenance, frame, collision, and paintwork on over 500 used fire trucks every year.
