Apparatus Information

  • Marque Ambulance was founded in 1990 in Goshen, Indiana. In 1992, Marque was purchased by Chris Graff, a local Goshen businessman. Chris moved the business to Elkhart, Indiana and placed it under the SJC Industries umbrella in 2006. In March of 2010, Thor Industries, the world's largest manufacturer of recreational vehicles and major builder of commercial buses, purchased SJC Industries from Chris Graff. Thor felt the ambulance business was a natrual fit wit their bus and RV businesses. Their intent was for SJC to continue in their independent operation, similar in the manner as the recreation vehicle and bus companies. In fht fall of 2001, Marque Ambulance was moved to an expanded, newly renovated facility with state of the art equipment. They are dedicated to providing purely custom ambulances, based on the customer's needs.
