  • Master Body Works Inc was an American fire apparatus manufacturer located in Southgate, California. Established in 1952 as a truck body fabricator the company also built fire apparatus. The company is best known for building wildland fire equipment, but did build other types of commercial chassis apparatus. Master Body Works built a large number of wildland engines for the California Department of Forestry in the 1990s and early 2000s. The company went out of business in 2009.
